Can you tell that my son is away from home and I've got time on my hands?

What is going on with Eggheads? Why have they been showing what I now discover is series 7 and then mysteriously this week we have jumped to episode 45 of series 10? I thought it was odd because we were only away for a few days, but they'd jumped from £58,000 to £14,000 prize money - which is impossible. Did the BBC think no-one would notice? Why have they done it?
Very odd.

Just want to comment on "Indian Summer". I liked it shame fiction alley said something. I am a prolific (my family says horrific,can read 3 normal books per day.300 pages approx 70 min.) reader and it was good remain proud of your work it is good and try The Hex Files much better for a Harry/Draco post http://www.thehexfiles.net/index.php. Please keep writing your stories they are good.

Thank you very much. It took me a long time to write Indian Summer, and though I think it's probably very obviously by a beginner, I am still quite proud of it. In fairness to fictionalley, they did accept it on the third try, and their input was quite useful, it made me realise that I didn't know how commas should be used, or how to do interrupted speech correctly. I like to think I'm better at both now, so although it was an irritating experience, it helped me improve.
