What, no epilogue?

vickyduckyOur local Indian takeaway has a rather eclectic selection of magazines and while I was waiting for my curry the other night I noticed a copy of Sci-Fi magazine with a picture of Daniel Radcliffe as Harry on the cover. The article was a pretty standard promo piece, just like lots of others which have been around recently. Except, according to this one, David Yates has said that if he can't do a good enough version of the DH epilogue with the current cast, then HE WON'T DO IT AT ALL!
Just think, movie!canon (which I feel I should call film!canon, but somehow I can't) won't have the epilogue of doom. How fantastic would that be?
Granted, pretty much everything I've written of late has ignored the epilogue completely, and there are some great fics out there which accept the epilogue and still get Harry and Draco together plausibly, but even so this pleases me very much.
