Jan. 4th, 2010 12:03 pmI've been trying to catch up with all the fics I missed and I'm all read out and haven't even started the Christmas batch yet! I will be reading holly and mistletoe in July at this rate. Not that it is something to complain about, of course, I've really enjoyed what I have managed to read.
I remembered a couple of things that I meant to put in my last post and forgot at the time. My dad is a big cricket fan, so while I was there I saw a lot of cricket. Normally I find this dull, dull, dull but I have to say that this was enlivened for me by ( three things: )
The other thing was that the Sunday Times on Dec 27th had a sort of literary round up thing, (Worst written sex, most over-the-top Michael Jackson tribute, that sort of thing) and one of the categories was Most Surprising Poem by Harry Potter (you have to scroll down a little way to find it).
Two things struck me about this poem(I'm not going to comment on the quality); given what I've said above you don't need to be a genius to guess which two long-legged glistening blond(e)s my slashy brain inserted, but also I really hope this doesn't reflect his actual attitude towards women, even if he is only twenty.
