Too late...
Dec. 8th, 2009 08:18 pmJust as I was getting my arse in gear to send out some of those snowflake cookies which were apparently free, as usual I have missed the boat and they are no more. Thank you so much
leo_draconis and
earth_magic for thinking of me, I was really touched.
I wondered how the BBC was going to fudge the Strictly Come Dancing semi-final this year, as yet again they have only three people left. Last year's nonsense about it all being down to there being a tie was just hogwash. My eight year old could work out that if you're allocating 1,2 or 3 points then whoever comes bottom after the judges score will be in the dance off even if they get all the public votes. But anyway it seems that this year they're abandoning the pretense and there won't be a dance-off this Saturday. I still haven't warmed to Ali Bastion, I'm afraid. I can't quite put my finger on what it is, but I'm sure it has something to do with the simpery look she always has. She's just a bit too girly and twee for me. I do so wish Jade hadn't been injured.
