Dec. 6th, 2009 08:17 pmIt's funny the things you get out of lj and fandom isn't it? I had a gingerbread latte today, which was completely delicious, but I'd never have tried it if
earth_magic hadn't mentioned them in a post. I was going to have a hot chocolate but then I saw 'gingerbread' latte on the menu board and thought, why not? Widening my horizons a hot drink at a time.
Ghost is just starting on the telly. I love this film, I cried a lot at the end when I saw it in the cinema, and of course it is even more poignant now, seeing Patrick Swayze in his prime. It really pains me to think how many years ago it was made. I probably work with people who weren't even born then!
Hallelujah I don't have to go to work tomorrow! We had a department meeting on Friday which was an utter nightmare. If you ask for clarification on how a new system is going to work, or suggest that a particular situation might not have been covered my boss behaves as if you are making difficulties just to be obnoxious, when really the reverse is true - I'm trying to make sure it works. Come hell or high water I'm retiring at 55!
