Last night I dreamed of...President Obama!

Yes, not Manderley but Mr President of the USA. For some reason, in the dream, he was visiting where I work and meeting ALL of us. He was on a little stage and we all went up one by one to shake his hand. There are over a hundred people in my department alone! Imagine if he'd really had to do that, talk about RSI! Also I'd managed to lose my ticket and so was very late and had to come in and clomp loudly up the steps to the stage after everyone else had taken their seat and Obama was getting ready to do his speech. I think this was probably the point my brain was making but I'm not sure quite what it was saying.

I must have slept in an odd position last night because my back, just below my left shoulder blade, is killing me! A well meaning colleague warned me on Friday that when my boss returns this week I will be getting a formal warning for taking too long on my morning tea breaks. I didn't, as I thought I would, fret about this all weekend, but I suspect it could account for both the dream and the back. I can't say I look forward to work at the best of times, but today is going to be a real doozy.
