Forever young
May. 10th, 2011 06:04 pmIf you found a magical stone that could keep one person young forever, would you keep it or give it to someone else? If the latter, to whom would you give it?
To be honest, I think I'd drop it down a well or something. Imagine always being young while all around you the people you love, your friends, your family, your children, age and die. It sends shivers down my spine.
And how could I wish that horrible fate on anyone else? No, I'd lose it as quickly as possible.
Actually, I've had a thought. I'd give it to one of those poor children who have progeria so they could stay young while they're supposed to be young, with the proviso that they handed it onto another sufferer when they were about 50.
