And yet more snow...

It snowed again last night and has been snowing most of the day since then. I got stuck on the way back from taking my son to school this morning, my car wouldn't go up the hill so I had to reverse down and go another way - very hair-raising. I'm going to walk down to get him this pm.

I know in most other parts of the hemisphere this isn't even really snow, but I am so so so fed up of it now. Roll on Summer - even if it rains every day.

Dancing on Ice

Appropriately enough. I do love seeing Torville and Dean's routines at the beginning of these shows. Just when I was starting to think they were getting a bit samey, after all they must be 50ish and that has to limit the things you can do, the routine for Sunday's show was really spectacular.

Rather like Strictly, they are scraping the barrel a bit when it comes to the 'celebrities'. So having a famous husband qualifies you now? I really thought Tana Ramsey was by far the worst, even though she wasn't bottom. She really didn't skate at all, Stuart just pushed her around. I feel a bit sorry for Sinita, she only went out because she didn't manage the frog lift, but it was a much more difficult move than Sharon Davies had. I think they tried to push her too much. Also, I am an Andrei fan so I'm cross he went out first week again this year.

Daniella Westbrook was surprisingly good and I'm trying, but only partly succeeding, to keep an open mind about Heather Mills. I thought what Nicky Slater said about her was cringingly patronising, he always seems to come out with complete gibberish.

Still, I'm thrilled it's back.
