Strictly is back!
Sep. 19th, 2009 12:35 pmYay! It's been a good week for telly shows I like as the new series of Project Catwalk started on Wednesday. So, Strictly, then:
On the minus side:
I missed Arlene and her bizarre comments about people's spines, although either Len or Craig said somebody had a wobbly core, so all is not lost.
I've really no idea AT ALL who most of the 'celebrities' are. There's Sonia and Gary from Eastenders and the Oxo woman (Bob with a B coming home for his tea) and Martina Hingis(?s) of course, who as a bona fide sporting superstar surely doesn't need to be doing this sort of thing? But I've never heard of any of the others.
No Karen Hardy, who I liked.
Tess Daly's really awful delivery of her feed lines for Brucie - he needs a better straight man.
On the plus side:
Brian Fortuna is back. He was always sensible and knowledgeable on It takes two.
It's just possible that Anton hasn't got a complete lame duck this time around - though we'll have to wait until next week to really know.
The biggest plus of all - NO CAMILLA DALLERUP!
