Why do you build me up (build me up) Buttercup?

I was driving home just now after a horrendous day at work. Can't tell you how many things I ballsed up! I was a bit later than usual so I was listening to the Oldies on Steve Wright's show and one of them was Build me up Buttercup. I love this song, it was the best thing about Something About Mary IMHO. So I was singing along madly and came to a cross roads. I'm going straight over and there's a car waiting to come over in the opposite direction. As I looked right the woman in the other car looked left and we were both clearly singing "let me down" at the same time. We grinned at each other and drove on. So what? One of those random connections you sometimes make with a complete stranger. It really cheered me up, no idea why.

Spell check has just picked me up on my (mis)spelling of usual (too many ss) but hasn't batted an eyelid at ballsed.
