Waterstones assistant: No. You order it here you collect it here.
Why would that be? It's all one company surely? They have computer ordering why is this not possible? Anyhow a much more charming employee at the Winchester branch took my order over the phone so I will be able to read it on the train up to Sectus. I know it sounds daft but in a way I wish Waterstones weren't discounting it quite so much. If it had been a couple of quid off I'd have gone elsewhere but I sacrifice my principles for £8.
