I hope you had a wonderful day. I'm so sorry to be late with this, but yesterday just disapeared in a black hole somewhere! Anyway, I've cobbled together a small fic for you. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to use the 'Spreadable Butt' prompt from so long ago, my brain wouldn't cooperate, but I hope you like this anyway.

Title: Let him now speak

Harry grinned nervously at Ron, who smiled weakly back. If anything he seemed the more nervous of the two, anxiously turning the rings over and over in his pocket.

"What time is it now?" Harry asked for the umpteenth time that morning. As Ron searched his robes for his watch there was a kerfuffle behind them, and they both turned towards the marquee entrance. Someone was struggling with one of the ushers. Harry stared in disbelief. It couldn't be, could it? Surely that wasn't Draco? What on earth was he doing here? Barely aware he was doing so, Harry drifted uncertainly down the aisle. He could hear Draco's voice sharp with irritation.

"Take your hands off me, Longbottom! I'm not trying to gatecrash the wedding of the year, you idiot, I just need to speak to Harry." Draco finally succeeded in escaping Neville's grasp. He straightened his robes angrily. "There's something I have to tell him."

"What could you possibly have to say to me?" Harry asked.

Startled, Draco turned to face him. "Harry," he said. "Harry, I need to speak to you. It's important."

"In case you hadn't noticed, Malfoy," Ron snarled, thrusting himself in front of Harry, "Harry and my sister are about to get married. He has no interest in anything you have to say. Now fuck off out of here, before I kick you out." There was shocked muttering from the few guests already seated, all of whom were watching the little scene avidly.

"Ron," Harry sighed as Draco bristled and squared up to his antagonist. "I can deal with this." He put a restraining hand on Ron's arm until, with obvious reluctance, he backed down. Harry turned to face Draco.

"Ron's right. This is hardly the time, but say whatever you have to say and go."

Draco looked uncomfortable. "Could we go somewhere more private?"

"What? No. Look, if you're just going to be an arse..."

"No. I.. No," Draco stammered. Then drawing himself up he looked straight at Harry and said, "I love you."

The marquee erupted with exclamations of astonishment and outrage.

"I love you," Draco repeated and the voices died down, listening again. "I'm in love with you. I have been for ages."

"You love me?" Harry said faintly. "But you said..."

"I know. I was wrong. Stupid. Afraid."

Harry took a step closer to him.

"You love me," Harry said again in wonderment. And then again, more certainly, "You love me."

Draco nodded, a miserable half-smile twisting his face.

"I'm sorry, Harry. I just, I needed you to know. Before, well before..." He didn't get the chance to finish his thought as Harry took his face in his hands and kissed him.

In his short, eventful life so far, Draco had been surprised many times, but this was by far the most pleasurable. He was just getting over the shock and beginning to return the kiss when there was a cry like a wounded buffalo and Harry was wrenched from his arms. And then Ron's fist connected with his chin and he went out like a light.

Melee at Potter wedding as Chosen One comes out.

Aurors had to be called to restore order at the recent Potter/Weasley nuptials, our correspondent writes. Fighting broke out after Draco Malfoy (son of notorious Death Eater Lucius Malfoy) turned up uninvited and seduced the groom away from his intended bride. A source close to the family said that Potter and Malfoy had been involved in a torrid affair for months, but that it had broken up in acrimony, sending Potter back to his childhood sweetheart, Ginny Weasley. After a whirlwind romance the couple announced their engagement earlier this year and planned a June wedding. It seems, however, that Potter still had feelings for Malfoy and when he learned that they were reciprocated, he rushed back to his former lover, jilting Miss Weasley moments before their bonding ceremony was due to take place. None of the parties were available for comment. Miss Weasley is being comforted by her family at their Ottery St Catchpole home and Potter and Malfoy are believed to be holidaying together in Mauritius, where Potter had intended to take Miss Weasley on honeymoon.
